Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you as a Sales Manager Mexico will be responsible to oversees the development of strategic business plans and programs to support the Reps, Distributors and end users. It is a field based and responsible for a sales target goal; identifies volume and strategic customers; and develops partnerships. As a sales Manager you will analyze market data to identify trends/opportunities, develops and execute strategic direction from market information, and creates compelling market analysis presentations and manage the team to achieve results.

About the Job

  • Provides commercial direction and regional management for Reps and channels.

  • Execute sales targets for region, and distribution partners along with key selling objectives.

  • Responsible for delivering revenue and market share growth objectives.

  • Generate and execute training programs and specify the brand with engineering firms and end users,

  • Works closely with PMs and factory teams to drive execution of strategy and tactics to achieve business objectives.

  • Works with the Marketing Manager and Channels to conceive, define and implement promotional tools and sales tactics to drive growth, including pricing strategies, marketing campaigns and distributor agreements.

  • Develops a detailed understanding of local customer requirements for the product line(s) and provides input into future product specifications and product positioning.

  • Provides feedback, information, market intelligence and recommendations to improve market penetration and orders growth.

  • AOP bookings planning.

  • Maintains and updates competitive / geographical product performance analysis.

  • Monitor results using a using LFBC and BI database and report performance during monthly and quarterly sales reviews; monthly forecasts, NBOs, performance against goals, plans and countermeasures for the next month and quarter.

  • Ensure that customers are receiving the best post-sales support by working closely with our technical support team to maximize post sales experience.

  • Location: Virtual/ Monterrey Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

About you:

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering Preferred).

  • Fluent in English and Spanish.

  • PC literacy including MS Office, Outlook, BI and sales contact management systems.

  • MBA / Sales Training will be considered as a differentiator.

  • Conflict Management.

  • People leadership/management.

  • Selling results.

  • Resource management.

  • Stress tolerance.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • +10 years of experience in Sales and Business Development.

  • Analytical instrumentation knowledge: Mining, Industry and Distribution Channel.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop growth strategies and guide successful execution of sales strategies and new product introduction, including the development / optimization of sales channels.

  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently, with initiative, and good business judgment.

  • Experience with Multicultural Leadership (commercial team)

  • Matrix management previous experience

  • Available to travel overnight for company business approximately 50% of time.
