About the location:

This stunning resort-style hotel opened in June 2007 and has a combination of classic hotel design and modern and contemporary beach suites and villas. Our hotel is connected to a shopping mall, it has 154 rooms including 31 Suites, 30 Beach Suites and 6 Villas with private pools, a private beach, a sea water infinity beach pool and a heated indoor pool, Spa and Fitness Center, and 10 food and beverage venues including an open-air 350 seat beach restaurant.
Sales Manager
About the role
Four Seasons Hotel Alexandria is looking for a Sales Manager who can implement the marketing plan to maximize room’s occupancy and average rate from both the corporate and group segments markets in the local and in the designated overseas markets. This position will be based in Cairo.
What Will you do:
- The ability to make telephone and personal sales calls on accounts. Follow up promptly with appropriate action to support telephone and personal sales call.
- The ability to solicit and service Travel Agent, Wholesale, Tour Operator, Private Reserve, Volume Account, Worldwide Corporate, Group and Transient accounts.
- The ability to follow-up on all leads, Maintain a good relationship and generate group travel and individual leads for the WSO’s and other Four Seasons Hotels.
- The ability to achieve weekly prospecting goal consistently.
- The ability to create permanent files for all groups with strong room night potential.
- The ability to negotiate with clients and achieve maximum revenue/profit potential while satisfying the client needs.
- The ability to evaluate, solicit, sell and confirm business as required meeting individual goals and overall budgeted sales and profitability.
- The ability to qualify prospective leads and accounts as to profitability.
- The ability to sell all hotels services.
- The ability to maintain an effective plan of correspondence.
- The ability to report on a monthly basis against plan/goal.
- The ability to keep managers promptly and fully informed of all problems or unusual matters of significance coming to his/her attention, so prompt corrective action could be taken where appropriate.
What Will you bring:
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience
- Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language.
- Good personal & professional references.
- Working computer skills and knowledge including but not limited to Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Delphi, Internet and Opera.
- Well organized and detail oriented
- Ability to work independently
- Display initiative, perseverance and analytical skills
- Based in Cairo
