Your role and responsibilities:
In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for the sales of products/systems/services within a designated market/division, in line with the division strategy. Each day, you will meet both qualitative and quantitative sales targets to ensure sustainable order growth, revenues, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction. You will also showcase your sales skills by identifying and developing new sales opportunities.

The role will support for the ABB India Ltd for Electrification Smart Building Business to be based at BANGALORE, India.
You will be mainly accountable for:
Increase sales and profitability by meeting assigned volume, product mix, revenue, and margin targets through effective customer and market engagement.
Develop new business opportunities by identifying potential customers, market segments, and growth areas, supported by focused marketing and value proposition communication.
Manage customer relationships and experience by understanding customer needs, promoting ABB’s complete portfolio, and ensuring a positive experience throughout the sales cycle.
Prepare and negotiate commercial offers in coordination with Bid & Proposal and Marketing teams, ensuring accurate technical, financial, pricing, and trading conditions.
Manage sales operations and commercial commitments by communicating delivery timelines, payment terms, and conditions, while supporting order administration, cash collection, and project management activities.
Qualifications for the role:
B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, or a relevant engineering discipline with 3–10 years of relevant experience.
Demonstrated experience in OEM sales and business development within the electrical industry.
Experience in managing OEM customers, understanding their requirements, and developing long-term business relationships.
Extensive exposure to customer and channel partner management, including identifying opportunities and generating orders.
Good understanding of Low Voltage (LV) Switchgear products, applications, and customer requirements.
Demonstrated ability in business development, lead generation, order conversion, and reaching sales targets.
Well-developed communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and relationship management skills, with a customer-focused and result-oriented approach.
