Job Purpose:
To lead and drive the MOT business in the West Region by developing and executing effective sales strategies, managing key accounts and wholesaler networks, and motivating a high‑performing team to achieve sustainable sales growth and market share expansion.
Key Responsibilities and Job-Related Characteristics:
Achieve sales targets for the designated area/channel through effective implementation of sales strategies:
- Define growth opportunities through customer insights, market data analysis, and competitive intelligence, translate into actionable sales plans
- Set distribution targets, visibility objectives and volume forecasts
- Effectively plan spending and control allocated budget to ensure that customer development in line with strategic direction
- Establish the standards and guidelines regarding daily execution, oversee the effectiveness of daily sales operations
- Collaborate with Trade Marketing to design and execute brand‑driven and commercial‑driven activations, linking campaigns to business results
Ensure a good relationship with wholesalers and outlets:
- Ensure the good management in handing wholesaler in terms of sell-in/sell out/inventory/customer management with operation excellence
- Build strong relationships with local wholesaler sales teams and drive performance to achieve win-win outcomes
- Identify key issues and opportunities with regional chain accounts, negotiate trade terms, promotion investment, and joint business plans
Develop, motivate and lead a high-performance team:
- Manage team performance and differentiation, provide coaching and mentoring to the team/talent to ensure team members are developed to their full potential
- Set clear individual and team KPIs, conduct regular performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback and coaching to elevate their negotiation, analytical, and execution capabilities
- Enhance team engagement and promptly address any performance or morale issues, partnering with line manager and HR as needed
- Ensure team members to achieve the requirement of the company compliance management
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- 6-8 years’ solid sales experience and at least 3 years’ team management experience.
- Strong leadership and people management skills – able to motivate and develop team.
- Self-driven, proactive, and highly responsible.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with high integrity and the ability to influence both internal and external stakeholders.
- Good learning agility, open-minded to continuously learning new things.
- Good English in both oral and written and computer skill.
