We’re now looking for a highly driven Sales Manager to expand Nexi’s presence in Sweden and accelerate new business growth across the Swedish banking market.

The Opportunity 

Sweden represents a significant growth opportunity for Nexi 

We are accelerating our commercial focus in Sweden, creating a significant opportunity to expand our partnerships with banks and financial institutions. 

This role offers the chance to play a key role in scaling Nexi’s footprint in one of Europe’s most advanced payments markets. 

You will engage senior decision-makers, identify strategic opportunities, and lead complex sales processes that bring Nexi’s next-generation issuing and risk management solutions to market. 

 

This is a true new-business sales role where success will come from your ability to identify opportunities, build trust with clients, and convert relationships into long-term partnerships. 

 

What You’ll Do 

Drive New Business 

  • Identify and win new customers across the Swedish banking and financial services sector. 

  • Build a strong pipeline of opportunities with banks and financial institutions. 

  • Engage senior stakeholders and decision-makers within the payments ecosystem. 

  • Lead complex sales cycles from prospecting through negotiation to deal closure. 

 

Expand Nexi’s Market Presence 

  • Position Nexi as a trusted partner for banks looking to modernize their payments capabilities. 

  • Drive adoption of Nexi’s key solutions, including: 

  • Nexi Ready – enabling banks to launch card programs faster 

  • Risk Management Solutions – fraud prevention, disputes, and chargeback services 

  • Develop compelling value propositions tailored to each client. 

  • Collaborate with product, delivery, and commercial teams to bring solutions to market successfully. 

 

Develop the Swedish Market 

  • Build Nexi’s visibility and presence across the Swedish banking and payments ecosystem. 

  • Develop deep insight into the market, competitive landscape, and emerging opportunities. 

  • Provide market feedback and insights that support Nexi’s broader Nordic growth strategy. 

 

What Makes You a Great Fit 

We’re looking for a commercially driven sales professional who enjoys developing new markets and building relationships with senior stakeholders. 

 

Your Experience 

  • Strong track record in B2B sales within fintech, payments, financial services, or technology. 

  • Proven ability to win new business and develop strategic client relationships. 

  • Experience selling complex solutions into banks, financial institutions, or the payments ecosystem. 

  • Strong understanding of the Swedish financial services landscape. 

  • Fluent in Swedish and English. 

  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
