Position Overview:
The role is a key function that will support the drive of Alchemy’s services and sales, focused on Japan. The Sales Manager Japan will drive used device remarketing sales along with development of circular tech solutions across Japan, being our most important and fastest-growing region of the business.
Passion for results, shaping deals, and managing customer satisfaction should be the main drivers for this role. We expect the candidate to work independently, and responsibly. But also, to do so enjoyably! The successful candidate will have an appetite to join a fast-growing company with First Class global ambitions within the trade in & second-hand technology business.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for meeting and exceeding sales targets while driving sustained revenue growth.
  • Develop and expand the local B2B channel's clientele within diverse wholesale segments across Japan market.
  • Execute sales strategies tailored to customer tiers and product segments.
  • Drive growth in customer engagement across different lines of business, including phones, tablets, computers, and wearables.
  • Optimize sales channel performance by managing both auctions and direct sales avenues
  • Utilise Alchemy's sophisticated in-house data analytics tools to monitor and report on performance metrics comprehensively.

You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field required
  • Experience within the telecommunications industry, specifically in local B2B sales of both used and new devices
  • Great customer engagement and account management skills
  • Excellent experience in sales and business development 
  • High motivation and self-discipline to work independently 
  • Keen attention to detail and proven ability to produce high- quality output
  • An entrepreneurial approach and the ability to get things done in cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Work Environment:

Hybrid, with travel on occasion, to meet with partners and attend key events.
