Job Description

As a Sales professional, you will play a pivotal role in promoting the sales of Cubic’s innovative products and solutions to prospective and existing named accounts in Great Britain. Your mission is to maintain long-term business relationships and to create profitable sustainable business growth, including the pull-through of all Rockwell Automation’s businesses.

What will you do:

  • Achieve Rockwell Automation sales targets for Cubic products & solutions and meet business revenue plans using a discipline sales process within targeted accounts.
  • Directly responsible for meeting and exceeding quota by actively negotiating and bringing opportunities to closure while working with the broader matrixed Rockwell Automation sales teams.
  • Develop and manage an accurate sales forecast and pipeline of Cubic pursuits.
  • Provide input into customer proposals and requests for information.
  • Leverage Global Sales & Marketing selling resources for target opportunity identification and access.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between customers, regional sales team members and business unit to ensure efficient and effective communications and information flow from sales and pipeline development activities.
  • Effectively translate technical terms into everyday language and properly manage expectations, both internally and externally.
  • Provide formal regular status reports to sales management which include forecast, pipeline and activity summary information.
  • Monitor & report revenue and pipeline results weekly via CRM tool for assigned Verticals or Geographies to ensure performance goals are met.
  • Develop strong business & financial knowledge of offering and its impact on potential business.
  • Proactive build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by partnering with our customer and through the understanding of needs.
  • Explore new opportunities into market (mainly Data centers, Water, Energy, and Industry).

Skills, Knowledge, Experience and Education you have:

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical or electronic engineering, computer science, manufacturing information technology or related discipline preferred; equivalent experience considered.
  • 5+ years pre-sales, direct sales, or consulting experience
  • Familiar in similar positions in commercial management (coming from the same sector is very appreciated).
  • Strong solution and application expertise, and related demonstrated sales experience.
  • Ability to resolve complex issues in creative and effective ways.
  • Stakeholders management skills.
  • Ability to set, be accountable for and achieve challenging targets.
  • Ability to influence, empower, coach, and motivate others.
  • Experience and knowledge in Low Voltage Switchboards (will be an advantage).
  • Strong negotiation, leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to build long-term relationships with a strong business track record.
  • Experience dealing with clients also at the highest level.
  • Experience in developing and executing successful business strategies.
  • Driving license.
