As Sales Manager, you will be offering solutions that range from technically complex to high end integrated or bespoke solutions. Provides consultative selling to customers typically at director level or higher. Solutions are offered in collaboration with internal technical, business and functional teams.
What you will do:
As Sales Manager, you will be responsible for small accounts offering less technically complex solutions. Builds relationship with customers, which may be end users, to understand needs and offer solutions within a standard framework or range on pricing and margin.
How you will do it:
- Study product knowledge and company working procedures, continuous to improve domain knowledge of product, company and industry.
- Plan annual secured order strategy aligned with Department goal. Achieve business sales target with YOY growth expectation in the region.
- Prepare and issue tenders and proposals to customers. Lead negotiation and/or bidding activity at optimum profit levels to the company. Close orders to achieve the goals and targets assigned.
- Responsible for payment collection.
- Provide monthly reporting on assigned vertical secured and revenue attainment as well as nonfinancial reporting to management team.
- Be proactive to liaise, develop relationships and influence customer(s) to maintain a long-term service relationship, ensure customer satisfaction at high level.
- Develop sales leads and identify customer requirements.
- Monitor and collect competitors’ activities in market and report periodically directed by company.
- Independently develop and follow up BMS projects to provide solutions for customers.
- Compliance with Johnson Controls’ policies and procedures at all times.
- Optional:
- Responsible for the promotion of BMS products and systems in design institutes, industry associations and integrators in the industry in the region.
- Compiling the production of catalogues to customers. Prepare localized master catalogue and general applications for contractors and consultants where appropriate.
- Conduct cold calls and new business development.
- Explore and execute end-to-end BMS project and provide industry solution to customer.
What we look for:
- Bachelor Degree or above, preferably in Mechanical engineering and HVAC engineering or Electrical / Electronic engineering
- Minimum 5 years working experience as sales/marketing position in direct selling industrial machineries
- Self-motivated, hardworking and positive, hunter personality
- Strong interpersonal, presentation and selling skills
- Good spoken and written in English
