We are currently looking for a Sales Manager, based in Paris area, to be in charge of the France Northern Region & Benelux.
You will Develop, improve and manage all commercial processes of the organisation, with a documented and systematic approach. This is to achieve maximum efficiency, quality, service and profitability for the organization.
You will Provide sales plan for customer accounts, executed as validated and achieve sales target as determined by Commercial Director Food West Europe
Main responsibilities
Sales & Account Management- Develop and implement sales plans for customer accounts to achieve agreed sales targets.
- Manage negotiations, conclude and sign customer contracts in line with the company's commercial strategy.
- Participate fully in budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Prepare and commit to customer sales volume forecasts.
- Monitor customer pricing, volumes and budgets.
- Identify and manage opportunities to improve margins across the customer portfolio.
- Support cost-saving projects and commercial improvement opportunities.
- Develop and maintain regular contact with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Ensure a strong understanding of customer markets, customer activities and competitors, identifying opportunities to create value.
- Identify customer needs relating to supply chain and technical developments, implementing strategies to develop long-term profitable business relationships.
- Handle commercial claims and negotiate mutually beneficial solutions while maintaining good business relationships.
- Ensure commitments made to customers are monitored and fulfilled throughout the lifetime of the contract.
- Work closely with Customer Technical Service, Sales & Marketing, Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Finance teams.
- Support customers by working closely with the CTS team to deliver agreed objectives.
Your profile
Graduated from a Business School or University, you demonstrate at least 10 years of commercial experience gained at a senior level, ideally in a manufacturing environment and an international business.
Problem solver, results & continuous improvement oriented, you possess a technical understanding that allow you to support our customers as well as internal interlocutors across the CTS or Supply Chain departments.
Ideally, you have a good knowledge of the packaging making process and a strong understanding of the Food Industry principles.
Fluency in English is mandatory ; Fluency in Dutch is a plus.
