Roles and Responsibilities
- Responsible for onshore wind turbines sales in Poland, Baltics and Eastern Europe region.
- Create close working relationships with all key stakeholders at assigned accounts across the Region and develop a thorough understanding of their project strategies and needs.
- Provide commercial and technical support to assigned accounts with their project strategy.
- Ensure GE Vernova’s Onshore Wind products and services have a favourable consideration in all assigned or newly created account’s wind projects.
- Identify, develop, and close sales opportunities within assigned accounts.
- Identify, understand, and communicate to the Onshore Wind management, customer requirements, from both project specific and their business in general.
- Work effectively in a team environment with Commercial Operations, Technical Operations, and Engineering, Finance, and Project management to ensure the most efficient use of all resources.
- Use judgment to make decisions or solve complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes etc. Utilize multiple internal and available external sources outside of own function to arrive at decisions.
- Leverage technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations.
- Be accountable for orders, pricing / profitability, risk, terms & conditions, and customer satisfaction.
- Manage the Inquiry to Order ("ITO") process for assigned accounts.
- Maintain data quality and accuracy of current project(s), opportunities, customer information with the sales data base system.
- Participate in, and support trade shows, conferences, and other related business events.
Key measurements will include:
- Accountability of business operation plan relative to assigned markets: Region Orders, Margins and Cash Operating Plan. Creating and maintaining pipeline.
- Performance to Goals & Objectives (developed in cooperation with Region Sales Leader).
- Sales Data Base accuracy and Data Quality.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering related to energy projects, Finance, and / or advanced business degree with applicable Renewable industry experience.
- Extensive experience and a proven track record of relevant sales and business development achievements in the wind power industry.
- Practical understanding of current/emerging requirements of the power generation markets; and customer financial drivers and needs.
- Strong communication skills and confidence with executive level presentations.
- Strong interpersonal, team building, and negotiation skills; ability to work with colleagues and customers at all levels of the organizations.
- Flexible for frequent travel throughout the country and region (30+)
- Consistent track record of meeting performance objectives.
- Self-starter with high energy and ability to energize others, drive change, work independently, and in the team.
- Fluency in Polisch and English.
