Role
Profile
The
Sales Lead – Educational Verticals will be responsible for driving revenue
growth within the education sector by building and managing strategic
relationships with schools, colleges, universities, training institutions, and
government education agencies. The role focuses on identifying new business
opportunities, promoting IT products and digital transformation solutions,
managing key client accounts, and achieving sales targets. The successful
candidate will lead the end-to-end sales process, from prospecting to contract
closure, while collaborating with technical and delivery teams to ensure
successful solution implementation and high levels of customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Play an integral
role in securing new business opportunities by participating in business
pitches and ensuring the successful onboarding of new clients.
- Drive the
achievement of sales targets through direct sales channels.
- Develop and grow
relationships with existing clients while identifying and pursuing new business
opportunities.
- Prepare
competitive quotations and high-quality responses to Requests for Proposals
(RFPs) in accordance with customer requirements.
- Serve as the
primary point of contact between customers and the relevant internal
departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Build and
maintain strong, long-term customer relationships through regular engagement
and exceptional service.
- Identify market
opportunities and recommend strategies to increase revenue and market share.
- Maintain accurate
sales records, prepare reports, and provide regular updates on business
development activities.
- Collaborate with
internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met and projects are
delivered successfully.
Requirements
Qualifications
and Requirements
- Diploma/ Degree in
Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related
- At least 3 years’
experience in a sales role with Information & Communications Technology, preferably
in the education sector.
- Good
understanding of the ICT Industry
- Valid Driving
License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel,
PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
- Ability to work independently and manage
multiple accounts effectively.
Skills Required
- Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing or related
- At least 3 years' experience in a sales role with Information & Communications Technology
- Experience in the education sector (preferred)
- Good understanding of the ICT industry
- Valid Driving License
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools
