A Day in the Life

The Sales Lead acts as a senior individual contributor responsible for driving sales performance and market development across Cambodia, Myanmar, and Laos within the CML portfolio. Leads key accounts and supports the execution of commercial strategies to achieve or exceed sales targets. Builds strong customer relationships, provides product expertise, and contributes to sustainable market expansion and business growth across assigned countries.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

  • Drive sales performance by promoting and selling Medtronic products and services to meet or exceed assigned targets

  • Develop, build, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including hospitals, healthcare professionals, and distributors across assigned markets

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities; assess customer needs and recommend appropriate product solutions

  • Deliver product education, training, and clinical support to customers and partners

  • Conduct market research, including analysis of customer needs and competitor activities

  • Execute market development plans and adapt strategies based on market dynamics and business priorities

  • Gather and communicate customer feedback on products, applications, and unmet needs to internal stakeholders (e.g., Marketing, R&D, Operations)

  • Support cross-country coordination to ensure consistent execution and alignment with regional strategies

Required Knowledge and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Life Sciences, or a related field

  • Typically 5–8+ years of sales experience in healthcare or medical device industry

  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and managing key accounts across multiple markets

  • Strong understanding of hospital environments and healthcare systems in emerging markets is preferred
