The Director of Sales Force Effectiveness plays a vital leadership role in driving strategic commercial initiatives that elevate sales performance, streamline operations, and contribute to sustainable business growth. This position will lead the development and execution of commercial strategies designed to deliver exceptional customer value, optimize revenue generation, and secure market leadership. Through data-driven decision making and cross-functional collaboration, this leader will ensure the continuous transformation of the commercial organization.

This role follows a hybrid model, combining in-office and remote work. We offer flexibility in scheduling to accommodate individual needs while maintaining team collaboration.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Strategic Leadership:

  • Champion best-in-class sales processes, methodologies, and tools across commercial teams.

  • Serve as a key driver of commercial transformation initiatives with a focus on innovation, agility, and customer-centricity.

Sales Performance Optimization:

  • Analyze sales performance metrics and translate insights into strategic recommendations for improvement.

  • Design and implement impactful training programs, tools, and systems to enhance sales effectiveness.

  • Lead the development and continuous improvement of forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting processes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Partner with leaders across Marketing, Product Development, Operations, and Finance to ensure alignment and execution of commercial strategies.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership to support alignment and shared accountability for commercial success.

Process Improvement & Efficiency:

  • Evaluate and refine commercial processes to increase efficiency, lower operational costs, and drive profitability.

  • Implement systems and technologies that promote streamlined operations and improved decision-making.

Performance Measurement and Reporting:

  • Establish and monitor KPIs related to sales effectiveness, market penetration, and revenue growth.

  • Deliver regular performance updates to executive leadership and adjust plans as needed based on business insights.

Talent Management:

  • Lead, coach, and develop the Sales Force Effectiveness team, promoting a high-performance culture.

  • Attract, retain, and cultivate top-tier talent within the commercial functions.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.

  • 10–15 years of experience in commercial leadership or business development roles.

  • Proven success in leading large-scale commercial transformation initiatives.

  • Strong B2B experience with a deep understanding of customer dynamics and competitive strategy.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and collaborate effectively with senior leadership.

Skills and Competencies:

  • Strategic thinking and visionary leadership.

  • Advanced problem-solving and data-driven decision-making.

  • Proficiency in CRM platforms, sales analytics tools, and commercial technologies.

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.

  • Change management expertise and cross-functional project leadership.

  • Project management certification preferred.
