Summary:

Responsible for all sales activities, from lead generation through close in an assigned territory with the ultimate goal of generating new business to the company.  Develops and implements agreed upon Business Plan which will meet both personal and business goals of expanding customer base in the market area assigned.  Works within the sales and support teams for the achievement of customer satisfaction, revenue generation, and long-term account goals in line with company vision and values. Performs all duties in accordance with Company policies, procedures and guidelines and within all State and Federal regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Meet new client and revenue goals/expectations as determined by leadership.
  • Maintains relationships with existing client base in collaboration with escrow officers and management.
  • Openness and willingness to lead and support associate sales efforts on all levels.
  • Identifies and converts qualified prospects to new customers to augment client base.
  • Is able to use company resources as directed to execute company sales strategy and record activities as directed by leadership.  This includes but is not limited to Salesforce, Company web resources, apps, social media, and industry tools as leadership deems necessary to perform.
  • Lead Escrow offices and Escrow teams using consultative sales approach, bolstering business where/when needed.
  • Participate in Regional/Divisional collaboration calls and efforts with intent to contribute and lead other Sales Executives when possible and appropriate.
  • Using a consultative sales approach, analyzes existing and anticipated customer requirements and promotes consideration of title products to fulfill such requirements.
  • Prepares yearly business plans and/or other status reports as required by management.
  • Work in alignment with sales management and the Corporate Marketing team to contribute new marketing strategies when possible and appropriate.
  • Present title and closing production procedures, administrative product information and demonstrations to clients.
  • Obtains and records detailed client profiles useful in the delivery of services to the client.
  • Conducts post-closing interviews to determine quality of services being delivered.
  • Attends sales meetings and calls as required.
  • Follows sales and territory guidelines as prescribed by leadership.
  • Maintains high visibility in real estate community by representing the company at social/business functions; including but not limited to golf tournaments, industry meetings or seminars, real estate conventions, and through personal involvement in service groups and business organizations.
  • Maintains strict client confidentiality.
  • Exhibits a courteous, business-like manner and professional demeanor.
  • Acceptance of supervision.
  • Ability to get along with others in the workplace.
  • Determine and report competitor activities and market conditions to manager.
  • Complies with Company policies, procedures, regulatory requirements and completes mandatory company compliance training by assigned deadlines.
  • At a minimum, the ability to work during scheduled or core business hours, Monday through Friday.
  • Dependable, reliable and punctual attendance is required, which may include in-office attendance or attendance at company, industry or other events that occur outside regular business hours.
  • Ability to accept supervision and direction, as well as constructive feedback.
  • Demonstrates courtesy, flexibility, professionalism and is proactive and responsive to supervisor/manager, co-workers and customer needs and expectations.
  • At a minimum, the ability to work from 8:30a.m. to 5:00p.m. Monday through Friday.
  • Regular consistent attendance is required, that could include attendance at after hour Company events.
  • Ability to foster, develop and maintain professional and collaborative working relationships. Must be able to get along with others, i.e., peers, supervisors, outside customers, and vendors.
  • Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of management, employees and customers by email, phone and in person. 
  • Must be personable, positive, and a professional representative of the Company.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Knowledge and Skills Required:

  • Ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Outlook.
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment while successfully performing under extreme time constraints and meets prescribed deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills, with ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks and projects.
  • Ability to act independently with sound judgment and take initiative.

Physical/Mental Demands:

  • The ability to work with confidential information.
  • The ability to perform under pressure and be flexible with disruptions throughout the workday.
  • Repetitive and continual keyboard activity and interaction with display monitors is required.
  • Local/daily travel by automobile and overnight business travel by air and/or automobile, may be required.
