Job Description- Assist & liaise between customers and SGS technical teams to provide follow-up and feedback for technical questions and specification needs.
- Visit existing customers periodically for contract reviews.
- To support & maintain existing contracts database.
- Ensure customers are responded to adequately by customer care group.
- Produce customer quotations as required.
- Adherence to SGS Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) Policy by uphold a good safety behavior and exercising necessary standard and process when carry out your responsibilities at all times to ensure compliance to the HSE requirements.
- Perform any other responsibilities as assigned by your reporting manager and/or Senior Management
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in customer care, sales or business development in a technical services or industrial capacity.
- STPM or Diploma or Degree in chemistry, chemical engineering, material science or equivalent would be an asset.
- Proven track record of successful customer relationship & key account management.
- Comfort in dealing with various levels of senior executives and management.
- Knowledge in using MS Office is a prerequisite and exposure to CRM software is an advantage.
- Applicants must be willing to travel nationwide occasionally.
- Good communication and effective interpersonal skills; able to develop good working relationships with people at all levels.
- Must be fluent in local language & English (oral & written), with good report writing skills
- Independent.
- Fast learner and able to work independently.
- Excellent work ethics, good team player and self-motivated.
Skills Required
