A Day in the LifeResponsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:
- Achieve territory sales targets, revenue growth objectives, and market share expansion across the STI and EMID portfolios.
- Cover the assigned territory which will be Bhopal and nearby areas.
- Drive adoption of Soft Tissue Implants, Hernia Solutions, Sutures, Stapling, and Intelligent Surgical Devices through clinical engagement and strategic account management.
- Provide operating theatre and surgical case coverage, including product demonstrations, procedural support, and therapy education for surgeons and clinical staff.
- Develop and execute territory business plans aligned with regional and organisational growth objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with surgeons, key opinion leaders, hospital administrators, procurement teams, and healthcare institutions.
- Conduct training and in-service programmes for new and existing accounts to ensure appropriate product utilisation and customer satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities within existing and competitive accounts to increase product penetration and conversion.
- Collect and analyse market intelligence, competitive activity, procedural trends, and customer insights to support business planning.
- Organise approved educational programmes, customer engagement initiatives, and scientific activities in collaboration with marketing and regional leadership.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality standards, operational procedures, and customer engagement guidelines.
- Maintain accurate sales reporting, account plans, forecasts, and business trackers.
Required Knowledge and Experience
- High School Diploma (or equivalent) AND 4+ years experience* OR Associate’s Degree AND 2+ years experience* OR Bachelor’s Degree
Preferred:
- Experience in Soft Tissue Implants, Hernia Solutions, Sutures, Surgical Stapling, Endo Mechanical Devices, or related surgical portfolios.
- Experience supporting surgeons during surgical procedures.
- Knowledge of implantable products, wound closure solutions, biologics, mesh products, or reconstructive therapies.
- Experience managing complex hospital sales cycles involving product evaluations, clinical committees, and purchasing stakeholders.
- Experience developing relationships with Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs), medical associations, and Centres of Excellence.
- Strong understanding of competitive hospital markets, surgical procedure workflows, and customer engagement strategies.
- Experience in technical medical device sales or high-value capital equipment sales.
