BPOD Latam is looking for a Sales Engineer to join our team in São Paulo, Brazil.
Mission
The Sales Engineer provides pre sales technical expertise to support strategic sales initiatives related to data protection, cyber resilience, and hybrid cloud solutions within Brazil.
This role ensures the technical alignment of proposed solutions with customers’ IT, cloud, security, and business continuity strategies. The Sales Engineer acts as a trusted technical advisor during complex enterprise engagements.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical pre sales support for data protection, backup, recovery, cyber resilience, and hybrid cloud solutions.
- Deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and poof of concepts (POCs) to enterprise customers and partner.
- Conduct discovery sessions to assess customer environments, infrastructure, and business requirements.
- Design and position appropriate solution architectures aligned with customer objectives.
- Develop sizing documentation, solution designs, and technical proposals to support sales cycles.
- Provide high-level project scoping and implementation guidance.
- Collaborate with regional sales teams, technical specialists, and channel partners.
- Support partner enablement initiatives and joint customer engagements within Brazil.
- Participate in technical events, webinars, and strategic customer meetings as required.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
Minimum 5+ years of experience in pre-sales engineering within enterprise software, data protection, cybersecurity, cloud, or infrastructure environments.
Strong knowledge of backup and recovery architectures, hybrid cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), virtualization (Openshift, Nutanix, HP Zerto), storage technologies, and cybersecurity fundamentals.
Experience engaging with enterprise customers, channel partners, and distributors in Brazil.
Ability to manage multiple technical engagements independently.
Fluency English Spanish is a plus.
