Promotes and sells a portfolio of technical and/or non-technical products and/or services and solutions directly to current and new end customers. Informs customers of new product/service introductions and prices. Creates, monitors and revises lead generation plans to ensure a substantive sales opportunity pipeline.

• Responsible for maintaining (30%) Nordson’s leading position in existing segments and extending (70%) it further into new market segments.

• Being the primary point of contact between Nordson India Pvt. Ltd. and our ICS customers in the assigned territory.

• Developing new customers in the assigned territory.

• Customer relationship management for these customers.

• Meeting sales targets and maintaining a healthy receivables position.

• Obtaining market research information and communicating this to Nordson India.

• Participating in the formulation of marketing strategy in South Asia.

• Develop relationship with systems integrators, material suppliers and ancillary equipment vendors.

• Team up effectively with service members of his region to deliver timely technical services, drive customer satisfaction and improve revenue from technical aftermarket and service support.

• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering is essential, Degree or Diploma in Management is desirable

• 5 to 7 year work experience in selling high value capital equipment. Working experience in MNC is preferred.

• Highly mobile

• Technology orientated and the ability to communicate differentiated benefits of technology

• Good communication skills in English and at least one local language

Working Conditions and Physical Demands

Will be working out of our Pune Office. Territory covers the Indian states of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Madhya Pradesh, Goa and UT’s in the region.
