InterSystems is a global leader in advanced data platforms and analytics. We're seeking a Senior Sales Engineer to support our continued growth in Belgium, focusing on strategic engagements in the public sector.
Role Overview:
As a Senior Sales Engineer, you will collaborate with public sector clients to understand their needs and propose robust, scalable technical solutions using InterSystems technology. You’ll play a key role in addressing complex data integration, analytics, and compliance challenges.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary technical advisor to clients and prospects in Belgium
- Design and present tailored solutions and product demonstrations
- Lead technical evaluations and proof-of-concept implementations
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and product development teams
- Guide partners and clients on architecture, deployment, security, and operational best practices
- Deliver technical workshops and training sessions
- Support tender responses and public procurement technical documentation
Qualifications:
- 8+ years of experience in data platforms, system integration, or enterprise analytics
- Demonstrated experience in public sector IT projects or working directly with government clients
- Strong understanding of API design and integration, including REST and SOAP services
- Experience in relational database design, including schema optimization and query performance
- Familiarity with high availability (HA) and failover strategies in production environments
- Solid understanding of enterprise IT environments, including security, compliance, and scalability considerations
- Fluent in Flemish, French, and English
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders
