Job Summary:

The Sales Engineer is a sales professional who supports sales executives in selling technology solutions to prospects and existing customers. They will specialize in both commercial and GSA sales while possessing technical knowledge, understanding of medical workflows, excellent communication skills, and a track record in selling complex enterprise healthcare solutions. Their role involves building solutions based on the customers' workflows and delivering compelling medical software/hardware presentations and demos. They continuously collaborate with the team to develop customized proposals and RFP responses to increase company revenue.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strategize with the sales team to create customized virtual care solutions for our customers.
  • Collaborate across departments to identify, develop, and submit responses to RFP's.
  • Develop and deliver presentations and software/hardware demos for customers.
  • Attend sales calls as needed to support sales team with technical related queries, medical workflows, and product requirements.
  • Train other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
  • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
  • Recommend new and improved products during the sales process to streamline workflows.
  • Establish new accounts and services by identifying potential customers and planning and organizing sales calls.
  • Identifies short-term and long-range issues that must be addressed, recommending options and courses of action.
  • Update company CRM with all sales and ensure proper sales workflows within the system.
  • Generate sales reports from CRM and present to executive leadership in weekly meetings.
  • Monitor grant awardees and make contact to set up meetings with sales team.
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the company.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years of experience working as a Sales Engineer or similar sales role, with proven sales and technical expertise.
  • Experience identifying RFP's and developing proposals preferred.

  • Selling to customer needs.
  • Understanding of medical workflows.
  • CRM familiarity.

Physical Demands & Work Environment:

  • Ability to work at least 40 hours per week.
  • Ability to utilize keyboard, mouse, and computer for up to 8 hours per day.
  • Ability to lift and/or move at least 25 pounds.
  • Ability to perform simple grasping, including handwriting, paper manipulation, sorting, folding, etc. periodically throughout the entire workday.
  • Occasionally remain in a stationary position throughout day.
  • Occasionally move about inside and outside the premises.
  • Occasionally work near moving mechanical parts.
  • Occasionally travel using a motor vehicle or utilize air travel.
  • Occasionally work around fumes, airborne particles, or chemicals.
