We are seeking a results-driven and technically proficient Sales Engineer with a strong background in industrial electrical systems and B2B sales. The ideal candidate is passionate about field sales, enjoys extensive travel, and has established connections within heavy industries such as steel, cement, paper, and manufacturing. This role demands a blend of technical expertise, sales acumen, and relationship management skills to effectively promote and sell Power Quality Solutions.
1. Client Engagement
Travel extensively to meet clients, consultants, distributors, and key stakeholders.
Build and nurture long-term relationships with customers across steel, cement, paper, and electrical consulting sectors.
Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets for Power Quality and Electrical Solutions.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand the customer base.
Leverage strong understanding of industrial electrical systems (UPS, Solar Inverters, APFC, Drives, Power Factor Solutions).
Communicate complex technical benefits in a clear, customer-oriented manner.
Utilize and expand existing professional networks among consultants, distributors, and OEMs.
Identify and onboard reliable channel partners and distributors to strengthen regional presence.
Lead the regional sales and business development activities including:
Customer visits and lead generation
Offer submission and techno-commercial discussions
Order closing, execution follow-up, and project coordination
Drive business expansion by exploring new market opportunities and partnerships.
Maintain consistent communication with clients, distributors, and consultants.
Conduct regular visits to key accounts, share updates, and provide technical and commercial support.
Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales reports for the allocated region.
Analyze market data, track competitor activities, and report insights to management
RequirementsQualifications & Experience
Education:
Diploma in Electrical Engineering with 5+ years of experience, or
B.E / B.Tech in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics with 2–3 years of experience in industrial or power quality sales.
Industry Background:
Experience in UPS, Solar Inverters, APFC Panels, Drives, Power Quality Equipment, or related fields is preferred.Other Requirements:
Valid two-wheeler driving license (mandatory for field travel).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Proven ability to achieve sales targets independently.
Fluency in Hindi, English, and the local language of the assigned region is mandatory.
