The Micro UPS Sales Engineer will be accountable for driving the growth and market expansion of Micro UPS solutions throughout the Middle East and Africa region. This position demands both technical proficiency and strategic sales skills, with a particular focus on identifying, recruiting, and developing new channel partners and distributors. The successful candidate will serve as the regional reference expert, offering in-depth technical and commercial support to both existing and prospective partners. This individual will proactively guide partners through the latest Micro UPS solution by ensuring partners are fully equipped with up-to-date market knowledge and technical expertise. The candidate will drive effective market penetration, foster lasting relationships and support sustained business growth throughout the Middle East and Africa region.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement a regional sales strategy to grow Micro UPS business across the Middle East and Africa.
- Identify and penetrate new markets, verticals, and high-growth segments for Micro UPS applications.
- Achieve and exceed assigned sales targets, revenue objectives and market share goals.
- Build a strong sales pipeline through proactive business development and market engagement.
- Develop, recruit, and manage distributors, value-added resellers, channel partner and system integrators across the ME & Africa regions.
- Provide commercial and technical support to channel partners to ensure effective market coverage.
- Conduct regular training to strengthen product knowledge and solution positioning.
- Monitor market trends and technological developments within the UPS and power protection industry and provide frequent feedback
- Conduct regular customer visits across the Middle East and Africa to develop new opportunities and strengthen relationships.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related technical field.
- 5 to 10 years of experience in technical sales within the UPS specifically Single Phase, power electronics, or critical power industry.
- Strong knowledge of UPS technologies, power backup systems, battery technologies, and power protection solutions.
- Proven experience managing regional sales territories and distributor networks.
- Mandatory experience in the IT channel ecosystem for Single Phase UPS
