BPOD latam is looking for a person to support a major software manufacturer as a Jr. Sales Engineer in São Paulo, Brasil.
Mission:
Provides pre-sales technical support to field sales software teams during the software sales process for selling the Information & Systems Management portfolio with focus on Database Tools, Data Governance, and End Point Security solutions. Supports the validation of software solutions in alignment with customers’ business needs and contributes to the technical relationship with customers.
Keys Responsabilities:
- Collaborates with sales staff to understand customer requirements and propose suitable software solutions.
- Assists in making presentations on selected company software products and services.
- Supports the preparation of product specifications and proposal materials.
- Participates in customer needs analysis and gathers technical requirements.
- Assists in coordinating internal resources and supporting pre-sales activities.
- Contributes to the creation of demand for software solutions through research and engagement.
- Supports the Partner Enablement plan by helping organize training sessions and materials in collaboration with partners.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in progress or recently completed (Engineering, Computer Science, or related fields).
- Up to 1 year of experience in IT or technical support roles, internships, or academic projects.
- Basic knowledge of Database Technologies, SQL and NoSQL such as Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, PostgresSQL, Snowflake, MongoDB, Databricks and others.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a willingness to learn in a customer-facing environment.
- Ability to support presentations and explain technical concepts clearly.
- Motivated to work in a collaborative team and develop within a fast-paced environment.
- Fluency written and verbal communications in English
