Sales Engineer - End Customer

This role focuses on a selected portfolio of national end customers across France, working closely with customers and colleagues to shape projects and position Axis as the preferred solution provider.

The position is based in Paris, with domestic travel and occasional trips to the HQ in Lund, Sweden.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

As a Sales Engineer - End Customer, you’ll be a key driver of business growth at national level in France, planning and executing strategic actions on managed End Customers. You’ll collaborate closely with the End Customer team, including KAM - Key Account Managers - End Customer, A&E - Architect & Engineering Managers, SE - Sales Engineers and EMEA, dedicated to a selected list of national end customers. Your main mission will be to influence major customers, shape project specifications, and position Axis as the preferred solution provider with technical decision-makers.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Understand customer needs and design tailored solutions that maximize the value of Axis offerings.
• Act as an expert and trusted solutions advisor, both internally and externally.
• Influence major tenders and new project processes, ensuring Axis is strongly positioned.
• Showcase Axis technology through high-impact presentations and technical demonstrations.
• Build strategies with Key Account Managers – End Customer to strengthen Axis’ position with selected customers.
• Develop long-term relationships with technical decision-makers across your customer portfolio.
• Collaborate with global and local technology partners to stay ahead of the market.
• Understand end-to-end solutions, including networking, analytics, software, hardware, and services.
• Track the competitive landscape and guide customers towards the best technical solutions.
• Promote pilots and proofs of concept to accelerate opportunities.
• Deliver tailored education sessions for end customers’ technical decision-makers.
• Represent Axis at internal and external industry events.
• Follow the internal training program to keep your knowledge up to date.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

You’re a self-driven, customer-focused technical professional who thrives in a commercial environment. You know how to build trust, influence decisions, and explain complex solutions clearly and confidently.

We’d love to hear from you if you have:

• A degree in computer science or engineering (preferred).
• At least five years’ experience in a similar role within the physical security market.
• Pre-sales experience and experience working directly with complex organizations on B2B projects.
• Strong knowledge of network technologies.
• Confidence demonstrating complex solutions.
• Experience with VMS and/or PSIM software (a plus).
• Solid analytical, business, and organizational skills.
• Curiosity, creativity, and a passion for technology.
• Fluenct level in French and professional proficiency in English.
