Overview:
ViaCord is seeking an experienced Sales Enablement Leader to build and lead a scalable enablement function that drives sales effectiveness, productivity, and performance. This role will develop and execute the sales enablement strategy, including onboarding, training, coaching, sales methodology, content, and performance programs that help sales teams and leaders achieve business objectives.
As the architect of ViaCord's Sales Excellence framework, this individual will partner closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Customer Experience, Clinical Market Development, Project Management, Finance, and Quality to improve sales conversion, new-hire readiness, CRM adoption, sales productivity, and customer experience.
Role & Responsibilities:
Sales Enablement Strategy
- Develop and execute the sales enablement roadmap aligned to business goals.
- Establish sales competency models, certification standards, and enablement success metrics.
- Identify organizational skill gaps and recommend training, tools, and resources to address them.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to leadership on sales effectiveness and performance improvement opportunities.
Onboarding & Sales Development
- Design and manage onboarding programs, learning paths, certifications, and training resources for new sales hires.
- Monitor onboarding effectiveness, time-to-productivity, and certification completion.
- Ensure ongoing development programs support continuous learning and skill reinforcement.
Sales Coaching & Performance Excellence
- Lead sales coaching initiatives, including individual coaching, call reviews, workshops, and manager enablement.
- Partner with sales leaders to improve coaching effectiveness and drive performance improvement.
- Develop coaching frameworks, tools, and best practices to support consistent sales execution.
Sales Process, Methodology & Enablement Content
- Own and maintain ViaCord's sales methodology, key sales processes, and enablement playbooks.
- Standardize customer engagement practices and sales execution standards.
- Develop and maintain sales tools, messaging frameworks, talk tracks, objection-handling resources, and supporting documentation.
Cross-Functional Partnership
- Collaborate with Commercial, Marketing, Customer Experience, and other stakeholders to align enablement initiatives with business priorities.
- Support product launches, process improvements, and change-management initiatives.
- Use performance data to evaluate enablement effectiveness and drive continuous improvement.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 7 years of sales, sales enablement, commercial operations, or related experience.
- A minimum of 5 years of sales training, coaching, enablement, or performance development experience.
- Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Strong facilitation, communication, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Proven success developing onboarding, training, coaching, or enablement programs.
- Healthcare, fertility, diagnostics, life sciences, or healthcare-adjacent industry experience.
- Sales enablement, instructional design, or learning and development certifications.
- Experience building an enablement function, academy, or certification program.
- Salesforce power-user or administration experience.
- Experience supporting commercial transformation, change management, or process improvement initiatives.
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams and drive adoption of new processes and tools.
The base salary range for this full-time position is $106,500.00 - $150,000.00 This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for a new hire in this position. The base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account internal equity, work location, and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for your preferred location during the hiring process.
Please note that base pay is only one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This range allows for the successful candidate to have an opportunity to progress within the position and develop at our company. This base pay range does not take into account bonuses, equity, or other benefits which may be applicable and are dependent on the level and position offered.
