Position Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Sales Enablement Manager with a strong background in instructional design and course development to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering innovative training programs that empower our sales team to excel. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create engaging learning experiences that drive sales performance, align with business goals, and support the continuous growth and development of our sales organization.
Job Responsibilities
- Instructional Design & Development:
- Design and develop sales training programs, including eLearning modules, instructor-led training, virtual training sessions, and blended learning solutions.
- Create engaging and interactive learning materials, such as presentations, videos, job aids, assessments, and simulations, tailored to various sales roles and skill levels.
- Apply adult learning principles and best practices in instructional design to ensure training effectiveness and retention.
- Content Creation & Management:
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive sales enablement content library, ensuring that all training materials are current, relevant, and aligned with sales strategies.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) and sales leadership to gather content, insights, and feedback for course development.
- Continuously update and refine training content based on feedback, industry trends, and changes in sales processes or tools.
- Program Delivery & Facilitation:
- Lead the delivery of training programs, including live workshops, webinars, and on-demand courses, to ensure a seamless learning experience for the sales team.
- Provide coaching and support to sales managers and reps in applying the skills and knowledge gained from training programs.
- Measure and analyze the effectiveness of training programs, using data-driven insights to make improvements and demonstrate the impact on sales performance.
- Sales Tools & Technology Integration:
- Work closely with the sales operations and technology teams to integrate sales enablement tools and technologies into training programs.
- Ensure that sales teams are proficient in using CRM systems, sales automation tools, and other relevant technologies to maximize productivity and effectiveness.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure alignment between training content and broader organizational initiatives, such as product launches, new service offerings, and go-to-market strategies.
- Collaborate with HR and learning & development teams to integrate sales enablement programs into the overall employee development framework.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple instructional design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to quality standards.
- Set project goals, timelines, and budgets, and communicate progress to stakeholders regularly.
- Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in sales enablement, instructional design, or corporate training, preferably within a B2B sales environment.
- Proven experience in designing and developing effective sales training programs, with a strong portfolio of work samples.
- Proficiency in eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Captivate), learning management systems (LMS), and multimedia production software.
- Strong understanding of sales processes, methodologies, and best practices, with the ability to translate complex concepts into clear, actionable training content.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and inspire adult learners.
- Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Business, or a related field. Master’s degree or relevant certification in instructional design or adult learning is a plus.
- Experience with sales enablement platforms and tools, such as Salesforce, Saleshood, or Seismic.
- Certification in instructional design or related areas (e.g., CPLP, CTT+).
- Experience in a SaaS or technology-focused sales environment.
