The Sales Enablement Director is responsible for developing and executing strategies that improve the effectiveness and productivity of the sales organization. This role aligns sales, marketing, and product teams to equip sales representatives with the tools, content, training, and insights needed to drive revenue growth and enhance customer engagement.

1. Strategy & Leadership

  • Develop and lead the overall sales enablement strategy aligned with business goals
  • Partner with sales leadership to identify performance gaps and opportunities
  • Establish KPIs to measure enablement effectiveness and ROI
  • Lead and mentor the sales enablement team

2. Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Serve as a liaison between Sales, Product, and Marketing leaders to ensure alignment and collaboration
  • Ensure messaging to distribution partners and Sales Organization is consistent and thoughtfully planned and executed

3.  Agent and Customer Journey/Experience

  • Analyze and recommend improvements for the process of onboarding new agent partners and converting them into productive and profitable business partners
  • Support the Sales Organization during the launch of new states and other blitz-related initiatives

4.  Content & Tools Management

  • Optimize and maximize the features and functionality of our CRM (Salesforce) and other systems and resources for the purpose of equipping our Sales organization
  • Optimize and maximize the features and functionality of our agent-facing resources, such as Agent Central (webrater), AA Academy, and the Momentum site
  • Collaborate with marketing to create and maintain sales collateral
  • Ensure easy access to relevant, up-to-date content
  • Optimize sales processes and workflows

5. Production and Performance Analysis

  • Provide predictive analytics and agency segmentation techniques/processes, optimizing the efficiency and effectiveness of our Sales and Marketing activities
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and improvement areas
  • Monitor adoption of tools and training programs
  • Provide reporting and insights to leadership
  • Continuously refine enablement programs based on performance metrics

Qualifications

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred)
  • 8–12+ years of experience in sales, sales enablement, or related roles
  • 3–5+ years in leadership or management

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills
  • Experience with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and enablement tools
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills
  • Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in technology-driven organizations (SaaS or similar system/philosophy)
  • Familiarity with sales consultative frameworks and the implications with CRM design (internal system is 411 Model)
  • Experience implementing enablement platforms (e.g., Highspot, Seismic)
