Primary Purpose of Position
The Sales & Distribution Coordinator will provide general sales support to the TV Distribution Sales team based in Sydney. It is their role to ensure the day to day maintenance of the Sales Forecasting system (SMART) and pro-actively coordinate the distribution of broadcast materials of all upcoming licenses.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales Coordination

  • Daily upkeep of the SMART forecasting database - control and monitoring of sales data inputs.
  • Participate in all budgeting projects.
  • Creation and updating of quarterly SMART reports for Contract Admin tracking purposes.
  • Coordinate non-scripted and factual product (ITVP) rights and availability information.
  • Maintain the Sales reports and calendars on a regular basis.
  • Develop, update, and maintain product availability and rights requests.
  • Create sales history reports and analysis of sales information (COSMOS).
  • Liaise with Contract Admin (CA), Legal, Finance and Rights Admin (RA) department to ensure effective sales processes.
  • General sales assistance and project support.
  • Coordinate Sales Team travel, expenses and general admin.


Distribution Coordination

  • Pro-actively co-ordinate the distribution or re-delivery of all telecast materials for the ANZ region.
  • Co-ordinate day/date delivery where necessary.
  • Service Scripts, Closed Caption Files & Music Cues to clients.
  • Liaise and update Marketing team regarding upcoming license periods.
  • Coordinate with Legal and Tech Ops team to determine Technical Specifications required for each client.
  • Onboard new clients to various WB Vendor systems where necessary.


General

  • Manage and maintain direct and mutually supportive relationships with the Executive Sales and Marketing team.
  • Ad hoc reporting as required.
  • All other tasks as required from time to time.


QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE:

  • Minimum 2 years relevant media industry experience with proven performance and results.
  • Sales and/or distribution coordination experience ideal.
  • Understanding of sales contracts and distribution technical specifications highly desirable.


SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) - intermediate to advanced Excel skills desirable.
  • Experience in SAP and Adobe Photoshop desirable.
  • Effective verbal and written communication with internal and external stakeholders, from entry level to senior executives.
  • Strong organisation skills with ability to manage multiple priorities whilst having strong attention to detail, with high levels of accuracy.
  • Strategic mindset - problem solving and assertive decision making.
  • A strong team player who offers flexibility and adaptability and contributes to an environment that embraces constant change and innovation.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic team environment with tight deadlines.
  • Responsible, accountable, and results oriented.
  • Self-motivated, proactive and actively shows initiative.
  • As part of a global organisation and based on projects - ability to work flexible hours when necessary.
  • Must be able to maintain confidentiality.
