SUMMARY
To provide leadership for the sales team to secure equipment orders to meet the companies profit goals. Manage sales and cost objectives for JLG Industries. Responsible for yearly sales plan, budget and forecast. Directly supervises members of field sales team.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Sales forecasting which is developed for business and production planning which allows purchasing to buy materials and plan production
- Receives input from the sales team and interacts with manufacturing to achieve a realistic and profitable plan
- Supervise the sales team and maintain performance in accordance with corporate policy and customer satisfaction
- Manage company days networking capital goals
- Maintain and enforce use of the company contact management tool
- Provide leadership and motivation to sales team by providing reviews
- Interact with key accounts and help close sales to achieve the sales plan
- Travel to visit customers, attend shows
- Plan sales budgets on a monthly basis so company can plan for manpower and cash flow
- Receive input from the sales team to plan for sales volume
- Plans and schedules work activities to complete assignments in their order of priority and to make the most effective use of time
- Communicate effectively
- Contributes to a favorable working climate within JLG Industries through a friendly manner and cooperative attitude in dealing with other employees and customers
