We are looking for an ambitious, adaptable, and self-motivated sales professional to join our team in Hong Kong. Reporting to the Managing Director of Enterprise Products, Greater China, and the regional sales leader, this role is responsible for driving revenue growth through new client acquisition, expanding relationships within existing accounts, and retaining strategic clients. Target client segments include insurance companies, asset managers, brokerage firms, banks, wealth management firms, and fintech companies. The successful candidate will represent Morningstar's suite of investment research, data, analytics, and wealth management solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Achieve sales targets by driving new client acquisition, cross-selling solutions, and expanding business within existing accounts.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders across assigned client accounts.
- Collaborate with sales professionals, product specialists, product teams, and client support teams to deliver solutions that address client needs and business objectives.
- Identify market opportunities and align Morningstar's offerings with evolving client and industry requirements.
- Maintain a healthy sales pipeline, accurate forecasts, and CRM records.
- Manage contract renewals and retention efforts to protect and grow recurring revenue.
Qualifications
- Passionate about helping investors and clients achieve their goals.
- Excellent communicator and dynamic presenter with strong commercial and relationship management skills.
- Proven team player who promotes collaboration across sales, product, and client service teams.
- 5+ years of B2B sales, business development, or relationship management experience, preferably within financial services, fintech, investment research, or market data.
- Prior experience selling financial data, software, research, analytics, or investment solutions is highly desirable.
- Ability to understand complex client requirements and quickly learn Morningstar's capabilities and value proposition.
- Fluent in Cantonese, Mandarin, and English, both written and spoken.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
