The Role:

  • Role is to deliver revenue growth through sales of our extensive service and technology solutions to key financial services institutions that include asset managers, wealth managers, independent advisers and corporate workplace providers.
  • In this role, you will be focused on generating new opportunities, executing sales plans and working with SS&C stakeholder groups to close new business wins. The role will encourage development in market knowledge and specific wealth sector dynamics as a thought leader and innovator in digital platform technologies and services.
  • The role will also take a lead in leading market, sector and industry events to generate leads and project the SS&C market leadership position. You will be a part of the SS&C International organization with access to products and services at the leading edge of financial services technology.

What you will get to do:

  • Creating a comprehensive sales action plan for the target sector with associated calling program, solution positioning and knowledge of competing institutions.
  • Executing on the sales plan to generate qualified sales opportunities in the pipeline across
    • RFPs run by target institutions
    • Consultant driven selection processes
    • Selected new business opportunities within the existing SS&C customer franchise
    • New opportunities for new products in sector across the firm
  • Developing  and maintain excellent relationships at c-suite level
  • Driving market events /sales activity at industry conferences
  • Working with other SS&C group companies to cross sell wealth services
  • Maintain and enhance industry knowledge through training and development
  • Work with the marketing team on the creation and evolving of campaigns and messaging
  • Proactively measure results based on new business targets

What we are looking for:

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
  • 5-10 years previous sales experience in the asset manager, wealth and adviser industry
  • Used to complex deals, consultative selling and long deal cycles
  • Located in the Luxembourg and willing to travel when necessary
  • Previous working experience in technology and/or  BPO services an advantage
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a positive can-do attitude to achieve
