What You'll Bring:

  • 5-10 years leading teams of sellers focused on data and analytic solutions in a complex enterprise sales environment
  • Mastery of internal TU systems, policies, vocabulary and processes preferred
  • Demonstrated experience within and/or knowledge of the Public Sector industry with specific focus on Federal civilian markets, and channel partners, processes, and solutions
  • Experience in complex contract/legal negotiations
  • Demonstrated experience in a variety of channel partner relationships such as: VAR, Systems Integrator, Platform Provide, OEM software provide, Distributor
  • Demonstrated experience in a variety of Public Sector contract vehicle types and models such as: MAS contracts, GSA, AWS, BPA, GWAC, IDIQ
  • Proven client engagement skills including prospecting, relationship-building, deal making, negotiating and closing business
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and often non-intuitive company environment
  • Detail oriented; dedicated to quality; customer-focused; urgent-minded.
  • Bachelor's degree in from an accredited college or university or the equivalent in experience


Impact You'll Make:

  • As the leader of the Federal civilian sales team, you will be responsible for the growth of our business within the market
  • Participation and content contribution to 3 year planning and individual market activation planning.
  • Weekly forecasting updates with monthly KPI review
  • Weekly forecast and SalesForce review examining key KPIs such as pipeline, sales stage, close timing, etc, for a team of 5+ individual contributors.
  • Coach and develop the team of individual sellers responsible for the sales pursuits supporting all stages of the sales opportunity lifecycle. This includes: Primary buyer contact; relationship / opportunity development; preparation and delivery of sales presentations; contract negotiations; and successful hand off to the account management team
  • Partner with TransUnion Public Sector LOB team, Solutions teams, data acquisition, Product Marketing, Solutions Consulting, etc to establish and execute on Go to Market strategies to advance TransUnion's business and reputation in the Public Sector market.
  • Collect, interpret and share market, customer and competitive intelligence concerning fraud trends and mitigation solutions
  • Promote communication, team building, personal development, customer directed innovation and other traits to project and strengthen the culture of the company


This is a hybrid position and involves regular performance of job responsibilities virtually as well as in-person at an assigned TU office location for a minimum of two days a week.

Pay Scale Information :
The salary range for this position is $161,900.00 - $280,500.00. *The salary range for this position reflects the general range of compensation for this job and does not include our bonus incentive(s). This position is eligible for bonus incentive(s). At TransUnion, actual compensation is based on careful consideration of additional factors such as (but not limited to) an individual's education, training, work experience, job-related skill set, industry knowledge, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position, and market considerations.
