About the position
As the Sales Director Away from Home at Kraft Heinz Benelux, you will be instrumental in driving the future growth of our company by playing a critical role in the success of our business outside the traditional retail environment (Away from Home/Foodservice). This includes sectors such as restaurants, hospitality, and other out-of-home channels. You will be responsible for developing and driving a strategic sales plan that ensures our products, including our iconic Heinz Ketchup, are readily available to consumers wherever they dine outside the home. You will lead a diverse team of sales professionals and report directly to the Managing Director Benelux.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy Development: Create and implement a comprehensive sales strategy for the Away from Home channel, aligned with the overall business objectives of Kraft Heinz.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a successful sales team, with diverse backgrounds maximising their varied experiences and perspectives to achieve success.
  • Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the food service, hospitality, and related sectors.
  • Sales Growth: Drive revenue growth by identifying new business opportunities, expanding existing accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments such as Marketing, Finance, and Category to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
  • Market Analysis: Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and market conditions to adapt strategies and stay ahead of the competition.
  • Budget Management: Oversee the budget for the Away from Home sales division, ensuring effective allocation of resources and achievement of financial targets.
  • Reporting: Provide regular sales forecasts, performance reports, and insights to senior management.

  • Experience: Leadership experience in sales, preferably in the food and beverage industry, with a focus on the Away from Home sector.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and managing diverse sales teams, with a track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
  • Critical Thinking: Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to translate market insights into actionable sales plans.
  • Relationship Building: Leverage your network within the Benelux market to cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners in the food service, hospitality, and related sectors.
  • Analytical: We're a very data driven company, making it crucial to be able to translate complex data into a simple solution with an analytical approach.
  • Language: Fluency in Dutch and English is required.
