Sales Development Representatives (SDR's) form the foundation of the Monex USA Sales teams by identifying leads, making qualifying calls, conducting costs analyses and closing business. This role is ideal for a motivated, self-starter capable of working independently, as well as collaboratively with their peers. With continued positive execution of key qualifying metrics, this role develops into a Sales Director role. Monex USA provides all the tools and training you need to build an exciting and prosperous future with our firm from the entry level roles all the way up to the regional Managing Director.
Responsibilities
- Research industries and corporate prospects who have FX exposures.
- Hunt for new business opportunities through high volume outbound activity.
- Identify decision-makers within target businesses to initiate sales process.
- Establish rapport with qualified prospects.
- Schedule and attend prospect meetings.
- Gain in-depth knowledge and understanding of our value proposition and technology solutions to position prospects.
- Use the CRM to identify, track and manage prospect records.
- Overcome objections of prospective customer.
- Contact 80+ prospective customers per day.
- Under the direction of your Managing Director you will:
- Be involved in the sales cycle process to ensure maximum productivity and completion of sales/pipeline development, and competitor information.
- Analyze clients’ business objectives, identify their FX risks and international payment needs.
- Meet and exceed “contributed” sales revenue targets.
- Prepare for promotion to next level of Sales Director
- Four-year degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or other related field
- Excellent skills in verbal and written communication
- High degree of professionalism
- Effective time management skills
- Strong desire to succeed; self-motivated; self-starter
- Must be coachable and willing to try different techniques
- Ability to maintain positive demeanor in spite of rejections
- 2-3+ years B2B Sales or business development experience
- FX basic knowledge
- 10% travel
- Salary is commensurate with experience. The annual salary range is $50,000 to $75,000 based on experience plus a competitive commission package.
