Lead efforts for identifying new account opportunities and gaining new accounts in North America
Create new qualified leads
Responsible for outbound sales prospecting and qualifying leads
Moving qualified leads through the marketing funnel and arranging meetings
Responsibilities include generating potential leads, soliciting potential customers, facilitating sales, and connecting customers with the account manager
KPIs for this role will include: 40+ cold calls made daily and 2 intro calls scheduled per week for account executives
Be the subject matter expert on supply chain design and transportation optimization - product, processes, and best practices
Work together with account managers and partners to establish and understand the customers’ requirements
Effectively manage inbound lead flow as well as executing outbound prospecting initiatives
Manage, track, and report on all activities and results
Why you belong at 4flow
2+ years of experience in software sales in the field of supply chain planning and design or transportation management in the role of a Business Development Representative or Sales Development Representative
Knowledge of the principles of optimization and how optimization is performed using software packages
Understanding of how software creates value and contributes to a potential client’s success
Domain expertise in sales methodologies and/ or sales processes
Outstanding written and verbal communication (including presentation) skills are required.
Ability to articulate key messages clearly and explain technical concepts to a non-technical audience
Ability to learn a software solution well enough to give a compelling elevator pitch and handle objections the prospect may have for not taking an intro call with an account executive
‘Brush it off’ mentality while doing cold outreach as most calls will not result in an into meeting
Self-motivated and creative; having the natural drive to learn and pick up new challenges
Ability to think conceptually on the fly
Adaptive to change, having comfort in fast-changing technology environment
Bachelor’s Degree required (technical major desirable) or equivalent experience in industrial engineering, operations research, or supply chain management, master’s degree a plus
Clear commitment on the job role for minimum of 2 years of sales environment
Must be willing to travel domestically and possibly internationally
