This position is located at our office in Austin, TX operating in a hybrid environment. 

About The Role 

As an SDR you are the crucial link between a Wursta’s new greenfield efforts and its sales team. The team is responsible for identifying and qualifying potential leads, ensuring that the sales team's time and resources are focused on the most promising opportunities. By effectively nurturing relationships and generating qualified leads, BDRs significantly contribute to a company's revenue growth and overall success.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Qualify leads from self-research, marketing campaigns and events as sales opportunities.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls, emails, and social media (LinkedIn)
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings and/or calls with prospective clients.
  • Research target accounts and build strong pipelines
  • Achieve and exceed BDR quotas and KPIs

Required Skills 

  • Bachelor's degree or higher from a university
  • You are curious: always looking for an opportunity to learn, grow and give/receive feedback
  • You have a great attitude that can maneuver through ambiguity and ability to work and collaborative with a growing team
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and decision making skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and outstanding attention to detail
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, multi-task, perform well under pressure and effectively manage competing and/or changing priorities

Interview Process

  • Initial Screen: You'll have a quick 20-30 minute chat with our hiring coordinator. It's just a chance to get to know each other and see if we're a good fit. 
  • Short Assignment (Complete before Manager Interview): This role requires the ability to translate marketing materials into compelling email communication. You'll have the opportunity to showcase this skill before the interview with a short, practical assignment.
  • Meet your manager: Next up, you'll spend 45 minutes with the hiring manager. This is your chance to learn more about the role and the team.
  • Panel Interview w/ Peers: 45-60 Minutes: This is a great opportunity to see the team dynamic and ask any questions you have. 
  • Interview with Senior Leadership (Optional): You'll then chat with the executive leader for 45 minutes. This is your chance to show off your skills and experience and learn more about the company's vision.
  • Get a decision: We'll get back to you within the week to let you know what's next.
