Job Summary
The position of Sales Development Representative (SDR) carries the pivotal responsibility of spearheading revenue growth by identifying and qualifying prospective customers for our products/services. Working in close collaboration with the sales and marketing team, the SDR will be instrumental in generating highly qualified meetings and nurturing leads, thereby facilitating the sales team's ability to effectively close deals.
What will you do?
- Based on regional strategy, you will develop your territory plan that outlines your approach to Identifying, prioritising and engaging potential customers in your assigned region
- Align your outreach efforts with the regional strategy and collaborate closely with the sales and marketing team to ensure consistency and effectiveness.
- Research and analyse market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to identify opportunities and tailor your outreach approach to different segments and persons.
- Leverage various tools and resources such as CRM software, sales intelligence platforms, and social media to identify potential customers and gather insights.
- Use your territory plan to guide your outreach efforts and ensure that you are reaching out to the right customers at the right time.
- Collaborate with the sales and marketing team to develop targeted outreach campaigns that are tailored to the needs and interests of potential customers in your region.
- Contact potential customers via phone, email, and other channels to set up a discovery call with Regional Sales
- Follow up on inbound leads promptly and professionally to maximize conversion rates.
- Nurture leads through targeted outreach campaigns that provide value and build trust with potential customers.
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads by continuously identifying and engaging potential customers in your region.
- Use an automation tool to track your daily, weekly, and monthly progress, monitor interactions with potential customers, and manage your leads effectively.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams on lead quality and campaign effectiveness
Who you are?
- You possess a demonstrable track record of SDR success, operating with senior decision makers, multiple industrial sectors, cross-regional etc.
- You have min 3 years of experience in a sales or business development role
- You pride yourself with an excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- You have strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- You are comfortable working with technology and learning new tools quickly
- You are familiar with CRM tools (such as Salesforce, Salesloft)
- Additional language is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Business Studies, Marketing, or related field is a plus

This role sits within the Marketing Team, reporting directly to the Sales Development Team Manager and is UK based. The role will work alongside the sales and marketing team, also based in the UK, Philippines, Singapore and USA.
