What are we looking for?
We are looking for a driven, tech-forward Sales Development Representative (SDR) to support revenue growth through a combination of high-volume lead follow-up and outbound prospecting.
This role leverages AI-driven tools, intent signals, and martech platforms to improve prioritization, personalize engagement, and generate consistent, high-quality pipeline.
You will also be expected to rapidly build a strong understanding of Checkmarx’s platform and clearly communicate its value to both technical and business stakeholders.
You will work closely with Sales and Marketing to drive coordinated outreach across target accounts, including account-based (ABM) initiatives.
How will you make an impact?
- Develop a strong understanding of Checkmarx’s platform and confidently position our solutions in the context of customer challenges across AppSec, DevOps, and AI-driven development
- Manage high-volume inbound and marketing-generated leads with timely and effective follow-up
- Execute structured outbound prospecting across target accounts using LinkedIn, email, and calls
- Use intent data and buyer signals to prioritize accounts and improve outreach effectiveness
- Leverage martech and AI-driven tools (e.g., Common Room, Apollo, sales engagement platforms) to enhance targeting and productivity
- Qualify opportunities effectively and convert them into high-quality meetings for the sales team
- Support account-based outreach (ABM) in alignment with AEs and Marketing
- Build account intelligence to enable more relevant, personalized engagement
- Maintain accurate tracking of activities and engagement in SFDC and related tools
- Continuously optimize outreach based on performance and insights
- Achieve monthly KPIs focused on:
- Qualified meetings
- Pipeline contribution
- Conversion quality
What is needed to succeed?
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Min 3 years of experience in business development / SDR / lead generation roles
- Proven ability to manage high activity levels while maintaining quality and attention to detail
- Experience using modern sales and martech tools (e.g., intent platforms, Apollo, Outreach, etc.) is a plus, with a strong interest in AI-driven tools and data-driven prospecting, and a willingness to learn and adapt quickly
- Ability to quickly learn and articulate technical concepts, particularly in application security, SaaS, and cloud environments
- Familiarity with account-based marketing (ABM) or working with target account lists is a strong advantage
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to craft personalized, relevant outreach
- Self-starter with strong ownership, adaptability, and a high sense of urgency
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment and collaborate cross-functionally
- Fluent in English; additional languages are a plus
