The Role: Want to be a part of our exciting growth journey?  

We're growing our APAC SDR team and looking for a talented, passionate, and motivated outbound Sales Development Representative to join us. You'll play a critical role in driving pipeline growth and expanding our customer base across the region. 

You'll be responsible for identifying and engaging potential customers across direct and ERP partner channels, qualifying leads, and setting the stage for successful sales conversations with our Account Executives. We're open to candidates anywhere in Australia — Melbourne-based candidates have the bonus of joining the team in person for gatherings and events. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Identify and engage target accounts across APAC through outbound prospecting 

  • Connect with prospects via email, phone, and social channels across direct and partner pathways 

  • Qualify leads and book high-quality meetings for Account Executives 

  • Build strong early-stage relationships and clearly communicate Traild’s value proposition 

  • Partner closely with sales and marketing to strengthen lead generation strategies 

  • Manage inbound follow-up quickly and professionally 

  • Maintain accurate CRM data and provide regular activity reporting 

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, the ERP/AP landscape, and Traild’s product evolution 

  • Consistently meet and exceed targets for qualified meetings and demos 

  • Support team collaboration across time zones when needed, particularly during onboarding 

Who You Are:  

You're a curious, driven communicator who loves the chase of outbound sales and gets energy from connecting with new people. You're coachable, ambitious, and want to build a career in B2B SaaS sales at a company that's growing fast. 

  • 1+ years of sales or SDR/BDR experience (B2B SaaS, ERP, fintech, or accounts payable a strong bonus). 

  • Confident on the phone - you can cold call, handle objections, and create a human connection quickly. 

  • A track record of carrying and exceeding KPIs and targets. 

  • Strong written and verbal communication, with the ability to engage a diverse audience from AP managers to CFOs. 

  • Self-motivated and able to work independently in a remote-first environment. 

  • Coachable and growth-oriented - you actively seek feedback and apply it. 

  • Strong collaborator with an attitude that embraces growth, hands-on execution, adaptability, and scale-up spirit.

Skills Required
