Job Description:
Cambria’s Sales Development Manager will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, facilitating and evaluating learning programs to enhance the skills and capabilities of our sales employees. This position requires expertise in adult learning theory, a strong understanding of sales processes and methodologies, a collaborative approach to stakeholder management, and the ability to translate sales performance needs into effective learning solutions that drive measurable behavior change.
*Successful candidates must live in the Minneapolis metro area, and relocation assistance will not be provided.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead and deliver a high-impact new seller onboarding experience that accelerates readiness, builds confidence, and ensures consistent adoption of Cambria’s sales process, tools, and expectations.
Design learning architectures that align with Cambria's sales transformation goals, using evidence-based adult learning principles (spaced repetition, scenario-based learning, microlearning)
Develop comprehensive learning measurement frameworks to demonstrate behavior change and business impact
Conduct needs analysis through stakeholder interviews, performance gap analysis, and data review to ensure programs address root causes rather than symptoms
Design, support, and reinforce leadership development for field sales managers, including new, experienced, and future leaders, with a focus on coaching effectiveness and performance management.
Collaborate heavily with Learning and Development, Sales Technology and Enablement, Marketing, and other capability teams through shared planning, documentation, and reporting, ensuring alignment across onboarding, training, leadership development, and sales execution programs
Development and execution of Cambria’s sales training program to include virtual content, classroom content and field training
Evaluate the effectiveness of learning programs through assessments, surveys, and other feedback mechanisms, and continuously improves programs based on the feedback received
Develop a thorough knowledge of the company’s business, processes and sales-centric approach, with a focus on Cambria’s values
Evaluate and modify future programs to better meet the needs of Cambria
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven ability in taking sales processes and methodologies and making them scalable and repeatable.
Working knowledge of B2B sales environments sufficient to design contextually relevant learning experiences; sales experience helpful but not required
Strong understanding of cognitive load theory, schema development, and retention strategies for adult learners
Data literacy to analyze learning effectiveness metrics and adjust program design accordingly
Proven ability to translate business objectives into measurable learning outcomes
Strong project management skills; ability to prioritize projects and deadlines and clearly communicate status, progress, and constraints with management, teammates, and stakeholders
Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and work with cross functional teams in a multi-faceted environment
Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
Ability to use data to identify opportunities, diagnose issues, and inform strategy
Exceptional communication, mentoring and performance coaching skills
Thrives in a fast paced, performance driven culture
Minimum Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Education or a related field
Strong preference for ATD (Association for Talent Development), CPLP, or similar learning design credentials
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of experience in leading and developing Field Sales teams, preferably within the manufacturing industry or related field
Systems: Proficient in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, Workday Learning and Salesforce

Physical Requirements: Office position requiring telephone and computer use. Able to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally / sparingly (office supplies, packages, samples). May need to bend, reach, walk, or stoop occasionally. Prolonged periods sitting and/or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
Travel Requirements: May be required to travel between local Cambria locations across the United States
Cambria’s starting salary range for this position is $108,000 - $150,000. Salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the target for new hires for the position. Individual pay is determined by several factors, including work location, job-related experience, and relevant education and/or training.
