The Senior Analyst, Sales Data Analytics (Orders), Asia, supports Vertiv Asia’s business growth by leading the preparation, consolidation, and analysis of orders performance. This role plays a critical part in driving profitable growth through data-driven insights and actionable reporting.


Key responsibilities include analyzing and interpreting orders performance results, preparing detailed and insightful reports, and supporting strategic planning, performance management, and decision-making processes. The role also works closely with cross-functional teams to ensure analytics are accurate, timely, and meaningful, enabling informed business direction and operational excellence.


Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the accuracy, timeliness, and completeness of orders data reporting, automation, and analytics. 
  • Provide and coordinate monthly orders performance reports with key stakeholders, including salespersons, sales directors, functional leaders, and regional leaders, aligned with set targets.
  • Participate in and support monthly SIOP calls by analyzing pipeline-to-order conversions and project win-rate trends, and by providing data-driven input to Sales Directors and Sales Leaders during discussions.
  • Perform quality control, sanity checks, and validation of orders source data and generated reports to ensure accuracy. 
  • Initiate and actively participate in the team’s data management initiatives, including reporting and analytical activities.
  • Take over and manage the team’s current process improvement initiatives through the use of technology, including automation using VB applications, Power BI, and similar tools.
  • Provide backup support to ensure business continuity for pipeline analytics, service and sales analytics, and other tasks delegated in line with the team’s objectives.
  • Work with cross-functional organizations to drive alignment and collaboration through the execution of data-informed business strategies and performance initiatives. 
  • Identify and implement new processes and improvement opportunities to maximize productivity in orders business operations.
  • Collaborate with the wider Finance and IT teams to deliver improvements in management information reporting.
  • Produce daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly report.

Job Qualifications:

  • 8 - 10 years' Experience in data management, orders process cycle and sales analytics or related process (e.g. Finance/Supply Chain/Sales operations)
  • Bachelor's Degree preferably in Accounting/Finance/Business Management or equivalent work experience 
  • Advanced Power BI development (data modeling, DAX, complex measures, dashboard automation)
  • Data mining and analysis, transforming raw data into meaningful insights
  • Analytical storytelling and presentation of findings to stakeholders
  • Experience in reporting - consolidation, processing, and merging of reports / data with the ability to analyze data and provide insights.

Skills Required

  • 8-10 years experience in data management, orders process cycle, and sales analytics or related processes (Finance/Supply Chain/Sales operations)

  • Advanced Power BI development including data modeling, dashboard automation and complex measures
  • Proficiency with DAX for complex measures and calculations
  • Experience automating reports and processes using Visual Basic (VB/VBA) applications
