The Sales Contact Center (SCC) at CDW supports customers through inbound and outbound sales and service interactions, delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving business results. SCC representatives serve as trusted ambassadors of the CDW brand - helping customers identify the right technology solutions, providing guidance throughout the buying process, and ensuring a seamless experience across every interaction. While all SCC Representatives share a core set of responsibilities and expectations, specific day-to-day focus areas may vary by team.
* What You'll Do (All SCC Representatives)
* Engage customers across phone and digital channels to support sales and service needs
* Provide best-in-class customer service while identifying opportunities to support customer needs through technology solutions
* Act as a trusted CDW ambassador, delivering professional, solutions-oriented interactions aligned with the CDW Way
* Accurately document customer interactions, orders, and account activity using internal systems and tools
* Collaborate with internal partners including Customer Relations and other SCC teams to resolve customer needs
* Meet or exceed assigned individual and team performance metrics, including sales, service, and quality goals
* Maintain awareness of and alignment with internal sales, service, and operational processes
* Role-Specific Focus Areas Onboarding Consumer Representative
* Onboarding Consumer Representatives support new and repeat consumer customers through inbound phone and digital interactions, ensuring accurate account setup, appropriate alignment to CDW engagement models, and effective support throughout early transactions. The role also handles consumer sales activity, including quoting, order placement, follow up, and general customer service, while delivering professional, solutions-oriented support.
* Additional responsibilities include:
* Manage inbound phone, chat and digital inquiries from new and consumer customers
* Execute accurate customer account setup across Salesforce and CDW.com, ensuring proper alignment to the correct engagement model
* Support early-stage sales activity, including quoting, order placement, and transactional follow-up
* Utilize standard tools and templates to connect customers to relevant resources and support channels
* Resolve customer issues independently when possible, escalating to appropriate internal teams as needed
* PSCC / PSCCG Account Manager
* PSCC and PSCCG Account Managers support inbound and outbound sales engagements with new and existing customers, with a primary focus on executing sales opportunities tied to CDW Partner Programs. The role builds and manages customer relationships, positions partner and CDW solutions to meet long term business needs, and drives sales through proactive pipeline management while delivering a consistent, high quality customer experience.
* Additional responsibilities include:
* Execute proactive outbound outreach to prospective and existing customers
* Manage sales engagements with customer decision-makers, from initial contact through close
* Advance Partner Program opportunities through effective opportunity identification, quoting, and deal execution
* Position CDW and partner solutions to address customer needs and support long-term value creation
* Actively manage personal quote pipeline, including timely follow-up to drive deal progression and closure
* Identify and act on opportunities to upsell or cross-sell additional products and services
* Proactively engage customers for service-related follow-up when required to support active or completed sales
* What We're Looking For
* High School diploma or equivalent
* 1+ year of call center experience
* 1+ year of sales experience
* Strong interest in customer service and/or sales
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented, structured environment
* Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to resolve customer issues efficiently
* Professional phone and written communication etiquette
* Basic computer proficiency; Microsoft experience preferred This role is paid at $18.00 per hour and is eligible for overtime. This position is also eligible for an annual bonus, with target bonus opportunities ranging from 10% of annual base pay up to $20,000, subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable bonus plan.
