PIB (Employee benefits) consultants adopt an approach of supporting organisations across all areas of financial and non-financial rewards that meet the needs of a business and its employees. This includes healthcare, corporate pensions, risk, employee benefit communications and employee benefits technology. Identify and target new business opportunities within the SME benefits markets including healthcare, group risk, technology, communications, and all other appropriate aspects of the client proposition.
What you will be doing
Develop and implement plans to expand client base and revenue streams
Conduct market research and stay abreast of trends and new opportunities that impact the sales and marketing strategy
Build and maintain strong relationships with SME teams, group colleagues, insurers, and other industry stakeholders
Deploy a consultative sales approach where appropriate
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients and partners
Work closely with cross-functional teams including sales and marketing, and across the wider PIB Group
Support the marketing team in developing campaigns, thought leadership content, and promotional strategies
Represent the company at industry conferences, events, and networking opportunities
Support the team with broadening the services offered to existing clients
Attendance and participation at client meetings to support client growth
Meet key financial targets set by the Senior Leadership Team
Adhering to Group Policies and Procedures
What we are looking for
Experience within the Employee Benefit sector
Ideally from a Consultancy background, will consider an Insurer
Proactive approach
Knowledge of SME Employee Benefit Market
