Primary Function: 

  • The Comfort Specialist is responsible for Residential and light commercial HVAC Sales.  As a comfort Specialist, you'll play a crucial role in our company by helping homeowners and business owners choose the best HVAC solutions for their needs. You'll use your sales expertise and our training to identify customer requirements, present suitable products and services, and close sales effectively. This position requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings. 

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Contact and verify: Every lead is processed and scheduled through Service Titan billing system for proper recording and follow-up.  
  • All Sales Leads: Follow-up will be processed through Service Titan with the Sale of equipment or closed out as a lost sale, non-sale, non-opportunity or not interested at this time.  
  • AS a Comfort Specialist: You'll help homeowners understand their options and make informed decisions about their heating and cooling needs while providing top-tier service in their homes 
  • Conduct In-Home Consultations: Meet with homeowners and business owners to evaluate their HVAC needs, perform assessments, and discuss potential solutions. 
  • Present HVAC Solutions: Provide detailed explanations of our HVAC products and services, helping customers make informed decisions. 
  • Prepare Estimates: Develop accurate and competitive pricing estimates based on customer requirements and company guidelines. 
  • Close Sales: Utilize effective sales techniques to convert consultations into sales, meeting or exceeding sales targets. 
  • Follow-Up: Maintain customer communication to ensure satisfaction, address concerns, and provide ongoing support. 
  • Leverage Leads: Work with company-provided leads and self-generated prospects to maximize sales opportunities. 
  • Attend Training: Participate in ongoing training sessions to stay updated on product knowledge, sales strategies, and industry trends. 
  • Use of online and AI Training Tools: offered by preferred manufacturers, SEER Group and Rilla to improve sales techniques and closing rates.  
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and installation schedules. 

 


Skills Required

  • Experience in residential and light commercial HVAC sales
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude and customer-service orientation
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including some weekends and evenings
  • Familiarity with ServiceTitan billing/sales system
  • Ability to conduct in-home consultations and evaluate HVAC needs
  • Ability to prepare accurate estimates and pricing
  • Proven ability to close sales and meet targets
  • Willingness to attend ongoing training and use online/AI training tools (SEER Group, Rilla)
