About the Role
We are seeking a self‑motivated, results‑driven SALES AUDIT ACCOUNTANT to join our team. In this role, you will be a key member of the General Accounting/Sales Audit team, responsible for processing credit card disputes and monitoring miscellaneous receipts from vendors and other third parties.
What You’ll Do
- Manage and track miscellaneous check processing; collaborate with purchasing, service, and accounts payable to close out blue sheets.
- Perform daily and weekly account reconciliations.
- Maintain organized records of sales audits and petty cash reports.
- Process customer refund checks using the CHI system.
- Address disputes and inquiries from Wells Fargo private label credit card customers and support stores with related account adjustments.
- Respond to fraud disputes and investigations.
- Reconcile daily credit card receipts with credit card service reports.
- Process chargebacks for major credit cards, including Mastercard, Visa, Discover, and American Express.
- Support reconciliation of receipts from financing partners.
- Assist employees with the travel expense system and process reimbursements.
What We’re Looking For
- Associate’s degree in business, preferably concentrated in accounting.
- 1+ years in general or retail accounting.
- Previous experience with handling retail customer disputes preferred.
- Proficient in Excel.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving abilities
