Sales and Marketing Intern

The Intern at Gator Bio will focus on lead generation, networking, and market research to generate new business. This internship position offers exciting and challenging opportunities to work with top academic institutions, research centers, and business organizations worldwide. Gator Bio's internship program spans a duration of 3 - 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Identify and cultivating new leads through cold calls, digital communication, campaigns, and events 
• Increasing customer engagement 
• Managing inbound leads  
• Developing strong relationships with the sales team 
• Routing qualified opportunities to the appropriate sales executives for further development and closure 
• Contacting leads to convert them into revenue or transferring them to the Field Sales Team  
• Support market research 
• Stay updated on industry trends, products, and services, to provide advice to clients 

Qualifications

• Undergraduate and graduate students in Biology, Biophysics, Biochemistry, Biomedical, Chemistry,Business, Marketing, or related fields 
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic, and evolving environment 
• Exceptional attention to detail  
• Microsoft Office Suite experience 
• Salesforce or other CRM tools experience is preferred 
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Strong analytical skills
