Job Description
Position Overview:
Responsible for daily generation of customer invoices for Amcor Rigid Packaging North America Business Units. Assisting the Sales Accounting team with other accounting functions.
Essential Responsibilities and Duties
- Generate Customer invoices through SAP, process includes reviewing the billing due list, print, mail, email, and enter on various customer portals as necessary.
- Maintain the SharePoint site where manual invoices / credit memos are requested in accordance with ARPNA policies.
- Research any customer invoice / sales order issues as necessary
- Work with ARPNA plant personnel and sales managers to resolve customer invoice issues.
- Process Customer Returns and Claims.
- Complete and distribute various monthly reports as necessary.
- Maintain Accurate and organized records.
- Provide support to the Sales Accounting Group as requested.
- Drive process improvement.
Skills Required:
- Strong Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines
- Sound communication skills (written and verbal)
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced large volume business environment
- Advanced excel skills
- Experience in an account receivable or sales accounting role
- SAP experience
- Must be an effective team player and interact well with others
- Knowledge and Experience in Sales Accounting and SAP
Qualifications:
- Professional with strong overall business acumen
- Effective team player who interacts well with others
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of clearly articulating thoughts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent work experience
- Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
- Strong systems aptitude with preference given to candidates with SAP
- Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
