Job Description

Position Overview:

Responsible for daily generation of customer invoices for Amcor Rigid Packaging North America Business Units. Assisting the Sales Accounting team with other accounting functions.

Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Generate Customer invoices through SAP, process includes reviewing the billing due list, print, mail, email, and enter on various customer portals as necessary.
• Maintain the SharePoint site where manual invoices / credit memos are requested in accordance with ARPNA policies.
• Research any customer invoice / sales order issues as necessary
• Work with ARPNA plant personnel and sales managers to resolve customer invoice issues.
• Process Customer Returns and Claims.
• Complete and distribute various monthly reports as necessary.
• Maintain Accurate and organized records.
• Provide support to the Sales Accounting Group as requested.
• Drive process improvement.

Skills Required:

• Strong Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines
• Sound communication skills (written and verbal)
• Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced large volume business environment
• Advanced excel skills
• Experience in an account receivable or sales accounting role
• SAP experience
• Must be an effective team player and interact well with others
• Knowledge and Experience in Sales Accounting and SAP

Qualifications:

• Professional with strong overall business acumen
• Effective team player who interacts well with others
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; capable of clearly articulating thoughts
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 3 years of accounting experience
• Strong systems aptitude with preference given to candidates with SAP
• Ability to multi-task, meet strict deadlines and work under pressure
