Your Role

The Sales Account Manager position’s key responsibilities include forecasting and demand planning, particularly with major retailers, managing budgets and inventory, working on DC forecasting, driving process improvements, and partnering with the sales team to manage inventory levels and mitigate returns. The role reports to the Director of Retail Sales Operations and requires collaboration with sales, finance, and warehouse teams.

What You'll Do 

  • Forecasting and Demand Planning: Amazon, Amazon Seller and Best Buy , Lowes; more dedicated and specialized analytical support
  • Alloy monthly and quarterly submissions/Finance quarterly submission
  • Budget & Reconciliation: Oversee operational budget, track spending, and manage vendor reconciliation..
  • Consigned Inventory: Manage consigned inventory for Amazon FBA and reconcile with accounting.
  • Inventory & Operations: Manage inventory using Alloy and NetSuite, oversee production planning, and resolve daily issues.
  • DC Forecasting: Manage monthly/yearly distribution center forecasts.
  • Process Improvement: Automates reports, enhances workflows, and identifies opportunities for customer economics.
  • Partner with the Sales team:  to drive sales and manage appropriate inventory levels to mitigate returns

Experience and Skills

  • 5+ years in sales account planning or related field.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Confidentiality and sound judgment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
