The Sales Account Manager for the SLED Enterprise Education team will focus on executing Red Hat's sales strategy, managing renewals, meeting sales quotas, and collaborating with a team and partners to drive customer success and enhance account presence through upselling and cross-selling.

The SLED Enterprise Education team is looking for a sales account manager who will be accountable for delivering on Red Hat sales strategy and increasing performance and customer success in an assigned set of accounts; retain and grow bookings through partners, In this role you will apply knowledge of use cases and strategic offering value proposition to win new business and identify and carry out opportunities to increase upsell, cross-sell, and renewals across Red Hat portfolio, increasing presence within accounts. Collaborate with Partner Sales Executive to lead partner-centric customer engagement, aligning Red Hat use cases to customers’ needs and developing solutions with partners that deliver business value. Provide customer continuity and account expertise to sales pod for accounts, increasing sales performance, and positioning Red Hat as a strategic partner. Collaborate with the pod team to achieve success together within the territory. Collaborate with partners and customer success team to understand how customer derives value from Red Hat solutions, support expansion or retention, and ensure customer meets success criteria outlined in the Value and Success Plan. Request support from inside sales representatives to help engage specialist solutions architect, sales solutions specialists, industry experts, and other specialists to manage end-to-end sales and deliver customer value as needed

Primary Job Responsibilities
● Manage renewals in the territory. Target a 95% renewal rate or higher.
● Meet or exceed quarterly and yearly sales quotas and targets.
● Sell Red Hat's comprehensive enterprise solutions (subscriptions, training, &
consulting) within your assigned territory.
● Lead a team of 8 or more colleagues. Ensure everyone on the team understands
the account plans and goals for the year. Work together to drive business to
closure.
● Prospect into accounts, coordinate and run meetings, create a pipeline by
uncovering new opportunities, manage forecasts, book net new deals, manage
renewals, and track customer data using Red Hat Sales Cloud
● Manage linearity and rolling four-quarter pipeline.

The salary range for this position is $209,650.00 - $345,890.00 (inclusive of base pay + target incentive compensation). Actual offer will be based on your qualifications.

Pay Transparency

Red Hat determines compensation based on several factors including but not limited to job location, experience, applicable skills and training, external market value, and internal pay equity. Annual salary is one component of Red Hat’s compensation package. This position may also be eligible for bonus, commission, and/or equity. For positions with Remote-US locations, the actual salary range for the position may differ based on location but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
