The Sales Account Manager is responsible for driving overall strategy and revenue growth through the sale of Capital Equipment, Aftermarket products, and advanced drilling technologies across assigned accounts and territories. The role focuses on developing strategic customer relationships, expanding business opportunities, and delivering value-driven solutions that support customer operational objectives.
The position serves as the primary commercial interface for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction, business growth, and alignment with NOV's strategic objectives while promoting innovative drilling, automation, and digital technologies.
ResponsibilitiesDrive sales of Rig Technologies drilling equipment, solutions, and services to strategic customers.
Manage and strengthen relationships with key accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and long-term partnership development.
Develop and execute account growth strategies to expand business opportunities and increase revenue within assigned customer portfolios.
Prepare and coordinate customer proposals, collaborating closely with the quotations team to deliver accurate and competitive commercial offers.
Conduct and facilitate professional sales presentations, product demonstrations, and technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across Capital Equipment Sales, Mission products and Aftermarket services within assigned regions and markets.
Coordinate customer capital equipment orders from quotation through delivery, ensuring timely execution and effective communication throughout the sales cycle
Support and facilitate for Aftermarket business groups to promote services to the customer. Being actively driving for success in the AM business and closely follow the AM processes.
Monitor market trends, customer requirements, and competitive activities to support business development initiatives.
Prepare and maintain annual, quarterly, and monthly sales forecasts to support strategic planning and business objectives.
Analyze market conditions and customer needs to develop pricing strategies, discount structures, and commercial recommendations.
Generate, maintain, and update sales reports, performance metrics, and account activity records.
Manage accounts receivable activities and support timely collection of outstanding payments.
Travel regularly to customer locations for business reviews, negotiations, presentations, and relationship-building activities.
Support additional business and sales-related projects and responsibilities as assigned by management.
